Blue Meth from breaking bad

The more pure meth is, the more crystalline it becomes. I don’t have any meth on me to illustrate the point, but here are two different purities of THC concentrate.

The sample on the left is ~77% pure, whereas the sample on the right is 90% pure. The more pure sample is noticeably lighter (and the texture begins to change).

You should be getting ~97% meth anyway, and if we were in a regulated environment, that’s what it would be, but, since it’s being made by individual cooks, you really have no idea what you’re getting. It’s an inconsistent product.

After Breaking Bad, people did start adding blue food coloring to the meth mix in order to dye it blue. Cool looking, but less pure, and therefore more dangerous because you’re igniting and inhaling the chemical in the food dye, which is also reacting with the meth and creating an entirely new compound.
