Dan Aykroyd’s classic about scientists who hunt ghosts became a full-on franchise with so many reboots in so many forms, it’s part of our culture. This is the penultimate ghost movie and actually has some genuine scares mixed in with the laughs. Even the female-centric reboot is popcorn-worthy, though admittedly without the chills and thrills.
