Beyond Netflix-bored is a problem most pirates have – being bored of pretty much everything released these days.

As an adult, I understand more and more why entertainment release dates are so agonizing to kids – waiting for something new to watch after spending days rerunning a bunch of content is excited.

Attack of the Ricks

Rick and Morty is one of three beloved shows in the past year to have press screeners released online to torrent sites.

Like Key & Peele and Game of Thrones before it, Rick and Morty has a large internet fan base. We’re still a few weeks away from the second season premiere, and two episodes have already been online for over a week now.

The Pirate Bay (still running, despite a lengthy legal battle), Kickass Torrents, and all the other popular TV torrenting sites have large populations of seeds for those wanting to see the episodes early. For those of you waiting…

I won’t post a full recap until after the airing of the episodes. It’s what journalists call an information embargo, and honoring these unspoken codes will get you far at major industry events like E3, anything MTV, ComicCon, etc.

I will  ruin a little bit, though, mentioning episode 1 continues right where season 1 ended (which you can review in my Rick & Morty season 1 recap) left off, with Rick and the kids cleaning up before unfreezing time and continuing life.

These two episodes seem to have the same edge as the first season, and the writing thus far is without plot holes or shark jumps.

If not for Mr. Robot, Rick & Morty would be the best summer TV show this year.
