Chicago is known for a lot of crazy, over-the-top, American things. The pizza layers are out of order (and the deep dish still has thin crust), the dogs are hot, and the strippers encourage full contact, making them basically prostitutes.
People from all over the Midwest head to Chicago to pursue their dreams. And while my Michigan ex headed straight for the pole, most women actually make something for themselves. Thankfully there are women-owned businesses, like Vosges Haut Chocolates, that give women in the Midwest an alternative.
It’s important to have a real career in life. It’s also important to taste the finer things.
Vosges has some interesting flavors – matcha, banana charcoal, bacon, etc. It’s not as silky smooth as European chocolate I grew up eating though. It’s the type of chocolate you get for a friend as a gift, but not something I’d eat on a daily basis.
Of course that’s pretty much standard for Chicago, so it’s probably my tastes. And there aren’t many skinny people in that city from what I’ve seen…unless they’re poor, but that’s true everywhere.
Wow – this got a bit deep for an eating video. That’s what happens when Google forces you to keep typing words out to accompany a video and pic without getting penalized in SEO.
