The below pics show some of the revenue I generated online over the last 4 years that I’ve trolled the interwebz…
This is an overview of my Google AdSense report from December 2011- December 2015.
And this is an overview of my Amazon Affiliates from the same timeframe.
I’m a content creator and am paid for creating content. A lot of content I create for free, and this website is one of those free properties.
The difference is I own this site and all the content on it. Everything else feeds into it. So I don’t care what content I post anywhere else, so long as it feeds these and a few other revenue streams.
I’m in the process of setting up another two of these to fill the blank space of this site with ads. Everything you see here and now is my journal as a whistleblower, and all the content is my own thoughts. Everything in the blank spaces will be sold to advertisers to generate revenue for me to continue working on this site.
These charts may have low numbers, but they’re residual income as a result of my efforts. I understand how they work and this is only a small fraction of my operations, but I’m showing it to you so you know how to monetize your efforts online.
Future Content Efforts
I’m working on creating more visual content from the trade shows I attend. I’ve upgraded a lot of my tech and will be upgrading more at CES. I’m excited.
I’m taking more photos and will be gathering more video content while keeping up on music, movies, TV, books, and games. I’ve got a decent archive of Hearthstone, Smite, and Nintendo stuff. I’m going to start organizing it and posting more on YouTube.
YouTube ads are attached to my AdSense account, and I post a link to my blog. I don’t promote my YouTube account, but it feeds this site, so it’ll keep AdSense on my page without me having to use any of their other ads.
The rest of the ads, I’ll do my best to control. I’m already talking to HerbalAds about filling some of that space, and spent some time with reps from PrimeTime and a few of the content marketing, vape, and cannabis clients I work with.
I’m learning a lot about marketing, journalism, small business, and other stuff to keep me on point. Attending the right trade shows over time is building up my content bank nicely.
Next year I’m investing in solid state harddrives and recording equipment. Then I’ll be podcasting in VR.
Next week, my mic comes in, and I can start video casting to add to YouTube. I’ll start that around Christmas.
Other than that, just staying out of jail and enjoying the Phoenix winter this year…
