Cryptocurrency investment is so much more than just buying Bitcoin. In fact, every day, I research and write about a new cryptocurrency altcoin for Crypto Briefing. If you’re looking to invest in cryptocurrency, these are my favorites.
Of course, keep in mind I’m not giving out investment advice. I’m not telling you to invest in these ten cryptocurrencies. I am, however, invested in several.
1. Pundi X (NPXS)
Pundi X is a retail-focused cryptocurrency that created an XPOS device to give retailers and make it easier to make payments with your crypto assets. The company released its XPhone Android phone on the Pundi X blockchain at CES 2019. While that phone will surely fail, this blockchain is solid.
2. NEO/GAS (NEO)
NEO is often referred to as an “Ethereum killer,” and this Chinese blockchain project did a lot to earn that moniker. This dual-layered project, originally called Antshares, is arguably one of the strongest cryptocurrency investments in the world.
3. Dash (DASH)
This Arizona-based cryptocurrency is growing a strong community. From cannabis to other retailers and sciences, Dash is making headway in blockchain like nobody else.
4. Ontology (ONT)
Onchain’s second blockchain project (after NEO/GAS) is Ontology, and it’s out to prove interoperability is the key to blockchain success. The Ontology network is one of the most solid blockchains in 2019.
5. EOS (EOS)
Originally started on Ethereum, EOS is quickly gaining ground and could become the most valuable blockchain project by 2020. Keep an eye on everything Dan Larimer and co are doing with this platform.
6. Decentraland (MANA)
This VR world built on the Ethereum blockchain is revolutionizing video game and app development. Many Ethereum-based dApps are now migrated to Decentraland, and its December 2018 LAND auction raised the bar.
7. VeChain Thor (VET)
Supply chain is the most important aspect of business, especially in today’s on-demand economy. VeChain is supplyin the chain with a blockchain-based solution that integrates RFID and other IoT technology.
8. Holochain (HOT)
Instead of the typical decentralized blockchain, Holochain brings a distributed approach, which is faster and more scalable. This rising project is one of my personal favorites, thanks to research from Crypto Briefing.
9. Dogecoin (DOGE)
Based on an Internet meme, Dogecoin is the preferred way to tip online. If you’re a content creator (especially one in gaming), there’s a good chance you already own DOGE, and if not, you’ll come across this crypto soon enough.
10. ICON (ICX)
South Korea’s most popular cryptocurrency and blockchain, ICON uses advanced AI algorithms to ensure its blockchain is secure, fast, and easy to verify. With projects like this coming out, it’s clear blockchain and crypto are continuing to grow through 2020 and beyond.
