Home Security Cameras for 2018 and Beyond

Home security is something we all need, but until the past decade, it wasn’t very accessible to the average consumers. Now everybody has a security service, and smarthome technology is a game changer.

This past summer, a Ring doorbell camera helped me protect my home, prove illegal activity, and get my meth addict neighbor evicted.

The power of security cameras and documentation to back up your words can’t be understated. Police and courts require documentation, and the more you can prove, the better your odds of winning.

We pulled in the best security cameras of 2018 this holiday season from PR agencies and marketing departments representing the brands. They provided the cameras for free for my honest review of each.

We’ve tested each system for the past few months, and here’s what we found. Each has night vision, mobile app support, sound and motion detection, two-way audio, cloud storage, and HD video. Scroll down to learn the individual features of each camera.
