The Proud Boys vs Antifa: An Observation

The Proud Boys and Antifa are prominent extremist groups that political commentators love to call out. Unfortunately, they tend to play favorites on both sides.

Then reality is they’re both ridiculous, and they have a lot more in common than they want you to believe. Let’s look at the Proud Boys first:

The Proud Boys are a violent group of radical extremists who engage in far-right political terrorism.

They’re ironically named after an Aladdin song and do draw occasional non-white guys. However, they’re an incel incarnation of the neo Nazis and a known terrorist group that hates immigrants, women, and Jews.

And of course, anytime you mention The Proud Boys being a terrorist group, a white supremacist will always interrupt you to say, “but what about Antifa,” as though the existence of another terrorist group somehow justifies their terrorism.

Let’s look at Antifa to satisfy these terrorism apologists…

Antifa is another often violent radical extremist group, except it is on the far left. Take a look at the above picture, and you’ll notice it is also largely white males.

Surprise, surprise…it’s as though both of these mirror-image groups are filled with entitled white people doing the exact same thing for the exact same reasons but with opposite viewpoints.

Basically Antifa’s entire motto is being against anything The Proud Boys support.

Here’s Antifa counterprotesting a Proud Boys protest. Let’s play “Where’s Waldo?” and see if we can pick out anybody not Caucasian:

I see some Black Lives Matter signs, but they appear to be held by Caucasian people. I think I can make out a couple of women on the Antifa side, but it’s as though both sides are simply gangs of white men putting on a show for each other.

Personally, I wouldn’t join nor support either side, because I’m a non-violent person. Nor am I a brain dead political extremist for either side nor an apologist for violent, radicalized, extremist incel gangs. I would just be embarrassed to be associated with either side.

They’re all ridiculous, and I feel like I’m watching an episode of South Park every time these terrorists go in the streets to LARP.

They’re both gangs of overgrown, privileged, entitled white men sprinkled with Tokens trying to force their opinions down everybody’s throats.
